This position is a part-time / non-exempt position.
(approx.
15-20 hours/week during the school year and potentially 20-25 hours/week during summer camp)
*PRIMARY FUNCTION:*
Our Front Desk Representatives are responsible for ensuring a quality afterschool experience for our members.
They must be enthusiastic, dependable and have a passion for supporting children and families.
The position's key function is to serve as our main office representative, providing families with information, visitors with a warm welcome, and managing our members’ dismissal process at the end of the day.
There may be light data entry, filing and copying assignments as well.
*KEY ROLES (Essential Job Responsibilities):*
● Provide members and their families with program information, answering our phone, greeting Club members, visitors and volunteers as they enter our Club.
● Work cooperatively with program staff to gather insight into program offerings and members’ needs.
● Promote an inclusive, welcoming, and respectful environment that embraces the diversity of all participants.
● Serve as a positive role model for participants.
● Maintain and enter accurate program documentation (attendance, sign in/out forms, behavior/incident/accident reports, as appropriate).
● Adhere to all Boys & Girls Club of Souhegan Valley policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
● Actively participate in training sessions, designated meetings and special events.
*ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:*

May participate in and/or lead special programs and/or events.

May be required to drive a Club van.
*SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:*
● Knowledge/experience working or volunteering in a youth development or related field
● Proficient in Microsoft suite.
