Established in 1980, the Greater Lawrence Family Health Center (GLFHC) is a multi-site mission-driven non-profit organization employing over 700 staff whose primary focus is providing the highest quality patient care to residents throughout the Merrimack Valley.
Nationally recognized as a leader in community medicine (family practice, pediatrics, internal medicine, and geriatrics), GLFHC has clinical sites throughout the service area and is the sponsoring organization for the Lawrence Family Medicine Residency program.
The Advancement Operations Associate will play a key role in the planning, organization, and delivery of administrative and operational support to the Advancement team, including maintenance of the GLFHC donor database.
Reporting to the Manager of Advancement Operations, this position provides cross-functional support to the Director of Grants and Manager of Legislative Affairs and Advocacy.
Position entails working closely with a small, energetic advancement team to ensure the smooth functioning of fundraising activities and operational processes.
Responsibilities include database management, prospect research, gift processing, annual fund and direct mail support, donor acknowledgment and stewardship, and general administration.
Job Responsibilities and Performance Standards:
Maintain and update the Raiser’s Edge database, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
Enter donor interactions, contributions, and other relevant information.
Transcribe and record voice memo call reports from CEO and members of the Senior Management Team.
Generate weekly, monthly, and annual progress reports, queries, and analyses, as required.
Ensure data integrity and confidentiality, in accordance with organizational policies.
Handle the logistics of all direct mail appeals and ensure accuracy of mailing lists.
Work with the Director of Development and Development Associate to compile information for fundraising progress reports.
Collaborate with the Advancement team and other internal stakeholders to align fundraising strategies with organizational goals and the GLFHC strategic plan.
Work closely and collegially with the Development Associate for Fundraising and External Relations.
Participate in developing annual fundraising plans and budgets for the Advancement Department.
Support the Advancement Operations team in various administrative tasks, including scheduling meetings, preparing materials and agendas, maintaining calendars, and taking and distributing meeting minutes.
Qualifications:
Familiarity with donor databases and fundraising/CRM software platforms (Raiser’s Edge, Salesforce, Constant Contact) and proficiency in data entry and management.
Minimum two years’ experience working for a non-profit organization, preferably in fundraising operations or administration.
Experience in healthcare is a plus.
Demonstrated passion for and understanding of fundraising and institutional advancement.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

Education
Bachelor’s degree in a related field (non-profit management, communications, IT, business) or equivalent experience.
