Juniper Networks seeks an experienced Senior Marketing Manager to develop and execute a field marketing strategy and plan in support of our strategic Service Provider accounts in North America and to develop and execute a marketing strategy and plan targeting our smaller Service Provider customers in the same geography.
The role can be homeworker, office based, or hybrid and the successful candidate will live and reside in either The United States or Canada.
You will be comfortable with matrix working and will work closely with the Account leaders and their teams, as well as the broader marketing team.
The role encompasses all aspects of field marketing although this year the main focus is on customer engagement events and landing our campaigns at a local level.
Responsibilities include:
Developing a robust understanding of the customer’s business imperatives and the opportunity that creates for Juniper Networks
Development of intelligence on the accounts you support that drives the goals of the sales teams
Building and executing an integrated marketing plan that fits seamlessly with the sales objectives for the accounts.
Developing a plan that covers the customer lifecycle.
Assessing the ‘fit’ of corporate marketing campaigns to the accounts working with the wider marketing team to adapt and introduce them as appropriate.
Driving engagement with customers by creating a regular cadence of communications with customer contacts which includes content development, writing and editing of traditional and social media, list/database management, and response metric tracking/reporting
Working closely with key internal stakeholders (sales teams, corporate marketing, solutions marketing, and technical experts) to help develop and define the go to market strategy and plan for customer… And executing the marketing component.
Leading the development of customized events and assisting with the execution as appropriate.
Presenting and evangelizing relevant business and technical content on webcasts, events and in sales presentations to audiences that ranges from in-the-field sales/SEs to Marketing, sales and product management teams.
Proactively developing new marketing ideas and initiatives and pitching them to the account team
Managing a marketing budget of dedicated OPEX funding (and MDF if appropriate)
Required skills/experience:
Must be fluent, both written and oral, in English.
Other languages a plus but not necessary.
A willingness to develop an understanding of key accounts at an operational and organizational level.
Build and maintain relationships with sales teams and partners in order to build a marketing strategy and then to implement it.
As an individual contributor, have a range of marketing skills to execute the plan and to take on new tasks as plans change to get the job done.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment with limited direction/supervision as well as adapt to continually changing priorities and aggressive project timeframes.
An outcome driven approach is essential.
Strong collaboration skills to interact and influence key stakeholders in the business groups, marketing, field and channel teams.

B2B marketing experience in the technology sector.
An appreciation of telecoms technologies.
A good understanding of service provider business models and their challenges.
Outstanding communication skills to quickly analyze information and use that analysis to concisely and accurately communicate a recommended course of action
Experience of digital marketing techniques and platforms
Travel will be required to attend and manage events on the ground and to attend internal meetings when appropriate.
Minimum Salary: $125,400.

The pay range for this position is expected to be between $125,400.
00 and $192,280.
00/year; however, the base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
The total compensation package for this position also includes medical benefits, 401(k) eligibility, vacation, sick time, and parental leave.
