Position Summary for the Sales Administrator: The Sales Administrator works closely with the project sales team to support the overall sales order process and relative logistics as well as other sales order-related activities.
Responsibilities of the Sales Administrator:
Partner with all members of the project sales team to deliver critical sales administration support.
Serve as key liaison delivering excellence in internal customer service between project sales team, various electrical product vendors, and the operations team.
Develop, communicate, and deliver between 150-200 customer shipment schedules to the projects team ensuring schedule reporting is timely and accurate.
Update, maintain and own the direct through stock (DTS) schedules, communicating reporting to the projects and operations team ensuring schedule reporting is up to date and the data is accurate.
Communicate with various stakeholders including projects team, vendors, and operations team to obtain any missing information, answer various queries, open cases, and escalate when necessary.
Identify, document, communicate, track, and escalate impasses with various stakeholders in the shipment schedule process.
Work with project sales team to understand sales process, identify administrative pain points and propose opportunities for sales efficiencies leading to greater proactive customer communication and satisfaction.
Update and maintain comprehensive and accurate sales data records including entering all input opportunity in Job Management System as well as other sales related platforms.
Assist with various sales related projects.
Other duties as necessary.
Qualifications of the Sales Administrator:
Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in business Analytics, Business, Sales, Logistics or closely related field required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong Technical sand Analytical mindset
Driven to focus on attention to detail and seek opportunities for improvements
Natural curiosity with willingness to learn new systems and build new processes
Highly Proficient with all Microsoft Office Applications with focus on use of Excel
Strong typing skills
