*Position Overview:* We are seeking a skilled and motivated sales professional to join our dynamic sales team for Geocomp’s Products Division in Acton, Massachusetts.
As a Product Account Manager at Geocomp, you will play a pivotal role in driving our revenue growth, developing, and executing effective sales strategies, and delivering cutting-edge laboratory systems for the geotechnical industry.
You will be reporting to the Account Manager of the Products Division.
The Product Account Manager role is responsible for establishing/maintaining strong customer relationships and leading growth opportunities throughout the sales cycle.
This process requires meeting the sales targets by managing and supporting an assigned territory and accounts/customers, analyzing customer needs and sales data to communicate trends, and contributing to sales plans.
Client meetings and participation in trade shows, conferences, and networking events are at the core of your daily activities.
*Key Responsibilities:* * Manage and support the assigned territory and accounts/customer base, including regular follow-ups and site visits to ensure sales targets are met and good customer relations are maintained.
* Achieve revenue growth and profitability goals for the assigned customers and geography Develop and execute an annual business plan with colleagues to achieve your targets.
* Analyze the performance for your accounts/territory regularly and recommend and apply corrective actions - Quarterly Business Review * Be accountable for defining customer engagement plans to ensure customer relationship success * Build and maintain trusted and preferred supplier relationships with your clients at all levels, including their executives.
* Maintain accurate records of all activities including leads, sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up activities in Geocomp’s CRM platform.
* Prepare and deliver budget quotations and value propositions to clients * Provide periodic reports on activities and results and participate in sales & marketing meetings.
* Participate in trade shows, conferences, and networking events.
* Collaboration and Cross-functional Alignment: Collaborate with other groups within the Division, including Marketing, Production, QA/QC, and Support to ensure seamless coordination and alignment of sales efforts.
Foster a culture of collaboration and teamwork * Developed awareness of industry trends * Always promote the well-being of the team and Geocomp as a priority over self-interest.
* Collaborate, use tact, extend courtesy, and practice respect with co-workers and clients.
* Promote cooperation and work effectively with other departments and offices.

*Qualifications and Skills:* * Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing, geotechnical engineering, civil engineering, or a related field (or substantial equivalent experience).
* Minimum of 5 years in previous Product Account Manager position * Proven track record of success in Product Account Manager roles, preferably in the geotechnical, civil engineering, construction material testing technology, or environmental sectors * Strong knowledge of sales principles, strategies, and techniques * Exceptional communication and customer-centric interpersonal skills * Self-motivated, positive attitude with a strong commitment to customer service * Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and generate insights * Results-oriented with a focus on achieving and exceeding targets * Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and changing business environment * Experience with CRM and ERP systems (knowledge of SAP is a plus) * Proficiency in Salesforce software and sales productivity tools * Proficiency in using MS Office packages (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and others), Google Sheets, or equivalent * Demonstrated ability to improve the sales process If you are a dynamic and experienced inside sales specialist looking to make a significant impact on our organization's growth, we encourage you to apply.
