The Senior Sales Operations Analyst plays a crucial role in informing sales activities, ensuring efficiency, and driving revenue growth.
The role is responsible for providing the intelligence and insights needed for the sales team to achieve business objectives.
The ideal candidate will have a curious and analytical mind, strong attention to detail, and a passion for utilizing data to enhance sales performance.
General Duties and Responsibilities: Perform exploratory and ad-hoc analysis to identify trends, patterns, correlations Use problem solving skills to determine root causes and suggest solutions with stakeholders Develop hypotheses regarding performance supported by data Develop story/narrative around analysis that can be used to inform stakeholders and drive decision making Continuously monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and growth Evaluate the current business KPIs and reporting processes and make recommendations on how to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of all dashboards and KPIs Partner with functional leaders to ensure KPIs effectively and accurately measure team capacity, efficiency, SLAs, quality, budget, and other key operational areas Maintain, monitor, and enhance weekly and monthly reporting across sales and customer success teams Support functional and organizational management cadences (MBR, QBR) Support and guide global standardization for reporting across revenue teams including Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, and Channel.
Support data governance efforts Collaborate cross-functionally as needed to support objectives, developing trust and alignment around analytics deliverables with all stakeholders (Marketing, Sales, Inside Sales, Operations, Product Management, IT, Finance, etc.
) Support data and modelling needs for annual planning cycle and functional budgets Develop models for capacity planning, sales coverage, segmentation and propensity, target setting and quota, and account assignment Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Personal Traits: Must embody Infinite’s “Hedgehog behaviors” of Positive Urgency, Accountability, Ownership, Same-Day Responsiveness, Collaboration, and Solution Orientation.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills to interpret sales data, identify trends, and derive actionable insights for strategic decision-making.
Demonstrated proactive and inquisitive approach to understanding trends and developments.
Understanding of various business functions, including sales, customer success, marketing, finance, and IT, to facilitate effective collaboration.
Strong communication skills to convey strategies, collaborate with cross-functional teams, articulate complex concepts clearly, and influence others Flexibility to adapt to changes in the business environment and adjust strategies accordingly.
Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in data, reporting, and insights.
A collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
A focus on achieving measurable results and improving overall organizational performance.
Upholding high ethical standards and integrity in all interactions and decision-making.
Efficient time management to handle multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines.
Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree in a pertinent field such as Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Finance or demonstrate equivalent and relevant work experience.
MBA is a plus 2+ years proven experience as a Sales Operations Analyst or in a similar analytical role Experience working with cross-functional teams, including marketing, finance, and IT Technology related B2B experience preferred.
Physical Job Requirements: Repetitive motion and routine use of the standard office equipment such as computers, telephones, copiers, and scanners.
Sitting at a desk.
Environment: Work environment is typically an office environment located on-site during normal or extended business hours.
You will work a minimum of two days a week in the office.
