Job Description: As the Director of Corporate Communications at NetWitness, you will play a critical role in shaping and conveying our corporate narrative, both internally and externally.
You will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive communication strategies that align with our business objectives, enhance brand awareness, and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders, including employees, customers, partners, investors, analysts, and the media.
Key Responsibilities: Strategic Communication Planning: Develop and implement corporate communication strategies that align with the company’s vision, mission, and values.
Create and oversee communication plans for key initiatives, product launches, mergers/acquisitions, and crisis situations.
Collaborate with executive leadership to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with corporate goals.
Media and Public Relations: Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers.
Proactively pitch stories and secure media coverage to enhance brand visibility and reputation.
Prepare executives and spokespersons for media interactions, interviews, and public appearances.
Internal Communication: Develop internal communication strategies to foster employee engagement, alignment, and morale.
Oversee the creation and distribution of internal newsletters, announcements, and corporate updates.
Collaborate with HR and leadership to ensure consistent internal messaging and transparency.
Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including customers, analysts, partners, investors, and industry influencers.
Organize and coordinate events, webinars, and conferences to engage with stakeholders and showcase company achievements.
Respond to inquiries and feedback from stakeholders in a timely and professional manner.
Crisis Communication: Develop crisis communication protocols and guidelines to manage potential reputational risks.
Act as the company spokesperson during crisis situations, providing clear and accurate information to the media and stakeholders.
Collaborate with legal, HR, and executive teams to manage crisis communication effectively.
Team Leadership and Development: Lead and mentor a team of corporate communication professionals, providing guidance and support to achieve team goals.
Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the corporate communication team.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and professional development initiatives.
Qualifications: 7+ years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, or a related leadership role, with a proven track record of successful communication strategies and stakeholder engagement.
Strong leadership skills and experience managing high-performing teams.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and messages.
Crisis communication expertise and the ability to remain composed and decisive under pressure.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with media, stakeholders, and internal teams.
Strategic thinker with a creative mindset and a results-oriented approach.
