We are looking for an experienced and motivated Business Development Manager, Diagnostics to join our Commercial team.
This individual will drive critical commercial partnerships focused on expanding penetration into the diagnostics field with reference labs, neurology clinics/centers, integrated diagnostic networks, and more.
This individual must have a commercial strategic mindset, technical knowledge, and experience negotiating commercial terms with both the Company and Customer priorities in mind.
They will have a demonstrated track record of winning, maintaining, and expanding relationships and partnerships.
What You'll Do: Drive targeted partnerships with reference labs, neurology clinics/centers, and integrated diagnostic networks Drive negotiation of deal terms, including term sheets, royalties, collaboration structure, etc Develop and execute strategy for developing partnerships to expand Quanterix' s footprint in the diagnostic space Collaborate with Marketing, Product Management, CLIA lab, and the sales leadership teams Concurrently manage multiple complex business opportunities.
Requires prioritizing projects with key stakeholders and aligning with Commercial goals What We'll Expect From You: 6+ years in Diagnostics or Med Device sales, preferably in the Neurology space Proven experience in business development, preferably within the diagnostics industry with In-depth knowledge of reference labs, neurology centers, and integrated diagnostic networks A strong background interacting with the clinical care setting including physicians, practice managers, medical affairs teams, and payers 6+ years in Diagnostics focused on technical sales in the Neurology space Strong understanding of the value proposition for improving upon patient/physician experience An extensive network of KOLs at major diagnostics centers, preferably within the Neurology space Strong influencing and communication skills, with experience navigating conversations with providers and decision makers in a clinical setting Possess a hunter's mentality in generating leads (database searches, LinkedIn, twitter, publication mining, etc.
) and building a pipeline Demonstrated track record of designing and closing business development transactions and the associated terms with an eye to both the company and customer needs Field travel and attendance at industry events and/or trade shows as necessary Why You'll Like Working For Us: Our Technology: Quanterix' technology is designed to enable much earlier disease detection, better prognoses and enhanced treatment methods to improve the quality of life and longevity of the population for generations to come.
