ROLE PURPOSE
The Senior Director of Client Engagement will lead the messaging, positioning, content, and campaigns for our sales and client experience teams.
Working closely with product management, marketing, sales, and the client experience team you will own and execute the overall client engagement strategy.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Own client messaging and positioning to drive new business, retain existing clients, and around expansion efforts.
Test and refine new messaging approaches and channels to reach and engage key audiences effectively.
Craft and develop compelling audience and initiative specific messages and tools (product videos, collateral specific to different audiences or campaigns, etc.
) through market research and with input from client user groups and advisory councils.
Develop market and competitive intelligence expertise and related thought leadership that can inform messaging.
Build and maintain strong relationships with product management, GTM, sales, and client experience teams to drive business success.
Measure and optimize messaging and campaigns.
Represent the company as a speaker and moderator at in-person and online client and industry events.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE ROLE
10+ years of client engagement experience including driving messaging overall for sales, expansion, and retention efforts
10+ years of experience in higher education with a deep understanding of the student lifecycle, from recruitment to becoming a successful alum
5+ years of team leadership experience
Experience in a SaaS organization with technology fluency
Experience leading primary market research efforts including survey formation, audience identification, administration, executive summary development, and key result presentation.
Positive attitude, growth mindset, and an eagerness to overcome obstacles and succeed
Competency in problem solving and demonstrated strategic insight development
Experience building, executing, and scaling cross-functional teams.
Experience presenting metrics and progress to goal to senior leadership
University degree and MBA are considered assets
Ability to travel 10-15% in North America; globally as needed
