What You’ll Accomplish Our Marketing Analyst will be responsible for leading category-wide consumer analytics within the brand marketing team.
Partnering with a team of channel-focused Sales Analysts and collaborating cross-functionally with various departments, this individual will play a crucial role in shaping sales strategies, optimizing business performance, and driving growth through data-driven insights.
They will be a key business partner that provides deep category knowledge working with internal and external stakeholders, driving insights and actionable plans.
They will also partner with our Sales Analysts to leverage shopper insights to deliver strategic alignment and drive execution across the omni-channel shopping environment.
Reporting to the Director of Consumer insights, our Analyst will source insights from revenue & POS data, as well as primary and secondary market research sources.
In addition, their role will include: Category Level Analytics Leadership: Be the go-to source and subject matter expert across channels, at the category level.
Directly support brand team to enable growth of each key business focus area.
Data Expert: Subject matter expertise in all things Nielsen including Point of Sale, and panel analysis.
Utilize multiple data sources, such as syndicated (IE Nielsen) and customer-provided consumption data, for analysis and trend identification.
Business Intelligence: Convert sales information into actionable business intelligence that will drive revenue and profit for the team.
Consumer and Customer Trends: Analyze and validate consumption and point-of-sale data to ensure an understanding of current consumer and customer trends and to inform marketing and sales strategies.
Business Unit Analysis: Analyze business unit performance, including sales/share, forecasting, pricing analysis and elasticities, content audits, and digital shelf performance to enable the optimization of commercial strategies.
Post-Promotional Analysis: Conduct post-promotional analysis (ROI, Cost to Acquire, Lifetime Value) and share the findings with the sales and marketing organization in order to improve future promotional efforts.
Data Liaison: Management and maintenance of data sources and vendor relationships Market Intelligence: Communicate crucial market, trade, and competitive information in a timely manner.
Reporting: Develop and support weekly standard reporting and ad hoc analytical needs of brand marketing team leveraging a suite of analytical tools.

Is a true collaborator, sharing resources, and engages in healthy debate Celebrates differences and strives to learn from others who are different from themselves Gives back to their community and supports sustainable practices In addition, for this specific role, we need someone who possesses: Bachelor’s degree in business, or a related degree 5+ years of experience in an analyst role, ideally in a sales or marketing capacity in CPG Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills, working with a variety of internal and external stakeholders to drive results Extensive experience with syndicated data: IRI, Nielsen, as well as customer-provided point of sale (POS) data Pricing experience and subject matter expertise Successful experience managing and ensuring compatibility of large data sets across multiple platforms Demonstrated ability to translate financial and syndicated data into forward-looking action plans Proven ability to perform sales ROI analyses Expert-level skills using Microsoft Excel, Power BI (or like system) Well-organized and able to manage multiple competing and shifting priorities and deadlines Sees challenges as opportunities Always displays a professional attitude Why Work for Wellness Pet We care about the wellbeing of our people, their families, and their pets.
