Your Opportunity The Account Executive (AE) works to increase B2B sales and generate growth across all product lines for EBSCO Learning.
The AE will have responsibility for multiple product lines.
The successful AE will increase the customer base of EBSCO Learning by rigorously prospecting for new customers, following-up on marketing leads, and generating new sales of EBSCO Learning’s product line.
The AE is also responsible for maintaining and growing existing business with renewals, upselling, and account growth plans.
This will require coordinated efforts with sales, marketing, product management and customer satisfaction across territories in their assigned markets.
What You’ll Do Focuses on the sales of products and services targeted to the High School, Academic, Workforce Development market, EdTech and other institutional markets.
Works closely with the SVP/GM of EBSCO Learning, Sales Directors, and other leadership on the development of sales and marketing strategies and priorities.
Focuses on implementing these strategies.
Provides and coordinates demos and opportunities for EBSCO Learning products with qualified prospects and existing customers.
Achieves or exceeds sales quotas each fiscal year as determined by EBSCO Learning management.
Participates in the pricing and planning of official offers: an understanding of the pricing system/strategy and the ability to customize it on a per case basis is essential.
Effective at all functions that are designed and/or required to achieve sales quota(s) including the following: preparing quotes, data & order entry, setting up trials, ongoing follow-ups, account management, etc.
Responsible for the adjustment of subscriptions, either to extend or stop service of the product for various reasons; creates a plan for each case and establishes reasons for actions taken.
Achieves an expert level of understanding regarding integration with EBSCO and partners’ products.
Continues to grow and understand the competitive landscape and focuses on how to target and sell against competition.

About You We have multiple roles available, depending on experience.
At a minimum applicants must have the following: 2+ years of sales experience in relevant industries.
2+ years of proven sales track record achieving sales milestones and target goals.
Ability to travel: conference attendance and field visits to customer locations based on need.

Skills that enable building solutions for complex research and library landscapes.
Our Offer to You Target Annual Compensation Range: $51,100 - $85,000 This Pay Target range includes a typical sales commission.
The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, education, training, and experience, as well as the position’s work location.
