The position also helps update the agency website.
The graphic designer works closely with team members, leadership, and program staff to create communication materials to support the agency's mission and promote the brand in the community.
Responsibilities: Develop creative concept, layout, and design of print and digital communications High proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud to design digital and print products; produce photos and videos Assist in the maintenance of and adherence to brand guidelines Create and maintain assets, such as templates, icon library, photos, graphics, etc.
Work directly with printing, mailing, and other vendors as needed to review proofs and ensure final product meets expectations Assist team with other projects, as needed Update the agency's website content and graphics, as needed in cooperation with outside web host/service provider Assist with tracking and reporting web analytics as needed Explore ways to continually improve the presentation of the agency website; work with outside vendor(s) as needed Experience: Bachelor's degree in graphic design, marketing, or communications or related field 3 to 5 years' work experience in graphic design Compelling portfolio of work over range of projects Highly organized with excellent attention to detail, deadlines, and timely follow up Understanding of color and design theory and typography Experience and/or knowledge in marketing and branding High proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), Canva, and Microsoft Office 365 programs (Teams, PPT, Word, Excel) Expertise in website publishing skills (WordPress) Email marketing (Constant Contact,) experience preferred Experience with photography and video creation preferred Ability to work independently, troubleshoot issues, take ownership of projects, while collaborating in a team and with a variety internal and external stakeholders Must have experience working with printers and outside vendors Maintain high level of professional confidentiality Excellent written and verbal communication skills, people skills Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment Those candidates who are bilingual in Spanish are encouraged to apply Please submit your portfolio or a sampling of your work with your resume Hours: 37.
