Our Team We have an exciting opportunity for an Associate Account Executive role supporting our Distributed Energy Resource (DER) customers team.
In this role, you will oversee and perform reviews of residential or and commercial DER Solar interconnection applications in NH/MA.
The role is based in Manchester, NH, Nashua, NH, OR Dorchester, MA.
In this critical role, you will establish and maintain customer relationships associated with residential and commercial Distributed Energy Resource customers and Solar installers.
Collaborate with teams of additional resources that reviews +/- 200 applications per week.
Interfaces with other internal departments such as field engineering, metering, billing, and customer service to answer questions on status and move applications through the interconnection process.
Active listening to customers, becomes knowledgeable of their business, identifies opportunities for improving the interconnection process.
Participates in state-wide working groups with state officials and industry stakeholders.
Serves on specialized internal and external cross-functional teams, as necessary.
Essential Functions Serves as the primary point of contact and transacts Eversource business for NH/MA residential DER applications from pre-application through online status.
Establishes, shapes, and builds relationships and partnerships with residential solar PV stakeholders.
Develops multiple points of contact and relationships with customers and installers.
Works with management to meet or exceed Key Performance Indicators.
Develops and presents options and solutions that meet customer needs and gain customer commitment.
Makes the arrangements for applicable program implementation.
Provides customer follow-up which may include technical assistance as needed.
Utilizes company resources/personnel and appropriate outside sources to implement strategies.
Participates on teams, as requested, to provide ideas and perspective to improve operational processes.
Keeps management informed of business activities and trends.
Anticipates and reports on situations or problems; recommends or initiate’s action.
Participates in customer outreach, educational seminars, and community volunteer events.
Participates in and supports the Company’s safety initiatives.
Supports Division Operations, Construction, New Service and Metering, plus interfaces as needed with customers and other field groups.
Technical Knowledge/Skills Basic technical knowledge of solar photovoltaic systems and the administrative interconnection process highly desirable Working knowledge of Maximo, PowerClerk, C2 and other interdepartmental work management systems desirable Ability to multi-task and work in a challenging and time-sensitive environment, to meet requests and expectations of multiple customers and company objectives.
Strong communication, interpersonal, presentation, negotiation, and persuasion skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to build, develop, and maintain current and potential relationships with customers, installers, and public officials.
Ability to interact with various organizational levels both internal and external to the company.
Ability to take initiative and make decisions to achieve both company and customer satisfaction.
Ability to effectively apply technical and analytical concepts to achieve customer and company satisfaction.
Ability to gather company resources to support a team approach in meeting customer and company needs.
A working knowledge of company mission, organization, functional areas and resources, business policies and strategies, Codes of Conduct, Business Ethics, Environmental, and Diversity policies.
Ability to apply engineering and economic principles in the areas of customer systems and energy-utilization requirements, financial skills, and experience.
Education Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or equivalent experience Experience 3+ years of related experience in account management, engineering services, customer service, or other related industries Working Conditions Must be available to work emergency storm assignment as required.
Our hybrid schedule is 90 days in the office and then move to hybrid flexible schedule.
Compensation and Benefits Eversource offers a competitive total rewards program.
The annual salary range for this position starts at $75,570.
00 to $83,990.
00, plus incentive.
Salary is commensurate with your experience.
