*About the remote position:* The New England (CT, MA, RI, VT, NH, & ME) Territory Sales Manager will be executing a strategic growth plan in the outdoor living industry (fire pit burners, outdoor fireplaces, grills, outdoor kitchens, outdoor heating, etc.
).
We are looking for individuals to join our team who share our passion for world class customer service.
Continued growth will be obtained through expansion of our dealer network while also continuing to bolster our existing customers.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Work week includes Monday (Admin Day), Tuesday - Friday on the road travel calling on current and potential dealers.
Minimum 8-10 overnights per month.
Some Saturdays based on dealer's needs for weekend events.
* Achieve and exceed sales goals by strategically partnering with existing dealers and establishing new accounts.
* Cultivate B2B relationships with decision makers at all levels.
Targeting brick and mortar locations as well a specialized Home Builders and Contractors.
* Develop, communicate, and monitor territory business plans and provide updates to the leadership team daily.
* Strengthen sales by providing exceptional product knowledge and technical training.
Be the product expert to strengthen dealer's product knowledge through training and coaching.
* Ability to solve problems, responsiveness, and an overall approach dedicated to customer service.
* Provide input to the leadership team.
Assist in increasing sales and profits.
* Attend dealer events, regional shows, and national shows, that promote Empire Distributing products to potential dealers, and contractors.
*Minimum Requirements:*
* Strong Work Ethic
* Associates Degree or equivalent relevant work experience
* Account management or territory sales experience
* Track record of success achieving goals while providing exceptional customer service and follow up.
* Strong ability to successfully manage time (including overnight travel), schedule appointments and build relationships.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
