As we continue to pivot globally to become a plumbing system solutions provider rather than a components provider, you will be our first Training Instructor focused on training customers about Watts’ unique value proposition for plumbing system solutions to begin driving this strategy.
You Will:
Define / develop new training curricula about how and where Watts products and solutions apply to plumbing systems in commercial and industrial buildings for use in instructor-led, lunch & learn, eLearning, and virtual training scenarios.

Work collaboratively with sales staff, product management, product engineers, technical support, marketing, and manufacturing personnel as necessary to source information, data, digital assets to produce training materials, etc.

Conduct training on a variety of plumbing system solutions that educates the customer about the value of Watts differentiated products and solutions in the application.
(40%)
Ensure training equipment, supplies, and facilities are fully operational and consistent with Watts Water quality standards and customer expectations; perform equipment maintenance / upgrades as scheduled or required.

Mentor / train other Instructors / Instructional Developers to ensure Watts Water Technologies training is of the highest quality possible.

Lead and direct the work of others to complete instructional design projects.

You Have:
Bachelor’s Degree or higher, preferably with a focus in Training and Instructional Design.
6+ years of experience as an applications or technical instructor / technical course developer / instructional designer
Demonstrable skills and experience in Instructor or Instructional Design / training development experience for construction / mechanical engineering projects / systems
Knowledge and expertise with Commercial and Industrial piping systems preferred
Knowledge of hydraulic systems, various types of control valves, pressure regulators, etc.
highly desirable
Experience with Microsoft Office including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
Familiarity with marketing principles
Ability to work collaboratively across all levels of an organization
Proficient in the use of Instructional Design Methodology (ADDIE) or equivalent
Familiarity with learning management systems a plus
