com) Job Description: VP of Sales/CRO Seceon enables MSPs, MSSPs, and IT teams to reduce cyber threat risks and their security stack complexity while greatly improving their ability to detect and block threats and breaches at scale.
Seceon augments and automates MSP and MSSP security services with an AI and ML-powered aiSIEM and aiXDR platform.
It delivers gapless coverage by collecting telemetry from logs, identity management, networks, endpoints, clouds, and applications.
It’s all enriched and analyzed in real-time with threat intelligence, AI and ML models built on behavioral analysis, and correlation engines to create reliable, transparent detections and alerts.
Over 430 partners are reselling and/or running high-margin, efficient security services with automated cyber threat remediation and continuous compliance for over 7,800 clients.
The Seceon VP of Sales / Chief Revenue Officer is tasked with building and scaling Seceon’s global sales teams and the sales process needed to drive profitable growth.
The right leader will have experience building and optimizing sales teams and strategies that combine both direct and IT channel initiatives in multiple geographies worldwide.
The candidate accepts that this is a leadership position that requires a hands-on, roll-up-the-sleeves startup mentality and, with success, gets additional budget and support.
This role requires regular travel to tradeshows and events.
Responsibilities: The VP Sales /CRO will be responsible for setting and achieving individual and team sales goals, leading the development of customer acquisition, partner recruitment, and client success methodologies, and building diverse, high-performing sales teams in multiple global regions Build and maintain strong ties with up, down, and across target organizations Work with the team to help them develop, initiate, and execute sales plans for individual target accounts Provide weekly opportunity status updates and accurate forecasts to management Consistently exceed quarterly revenue targets Partner closely with Channel partners and our Channel Account Managers to drive net pipeline growth and accelerate deal velocity The role also involves close collaboration with the marketing and customer success team to execute the go-to-market programs, ABM programs, and upsell/cross-sell programs, including partner sales enablement approach for current and future products Manage complex sales cycle selling the Source to Pay Suite to the CISOs, CIOs, and IT managers Ensure appropriate management of large enterprise accounts of $500 million and above in revenue Develop a culture of consultative solutions sales process for prospects Develop the outbound motion and build and manage a team of BDRs or organize your teams into pods Forecast sales closures accurately based on realistic opportunity assessments Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of B2B Cybersecurity or software for IT teams or MSPs sales experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity, particularly in the cybersecurity software space.
This role requires a collaborative approach to help design a world-class go-to-market strategy, rigorous sales execution, and the ability to drive ambitious predictable revenue growth Applicants should bring a proven sales methodology that can be adapted to the specific needs of the company’s market and customers, (both direct and indirect), as well as a mix of self-confidence and humility to inspire and listen to the team You’ll have an analytical mindset, quantitative analytical skills, and experience with sales tech stacks, including Hubspot and Salesforce are essential You thrive in an environment of constant learning and experimentation You think in terms of patterns and systems.
